WHAT TYPE OF VINYL STRIP MATERIAL DO YOU NEED?
There are two basic types of vinyl:
standard and
low temperature
The problem many people face is the temperature rating used by extruders and catalog houses, most extruders rate
standard
material from -20F to 150F, in reality
standard material becomes stiff at temperatures below 20F, prone to cracking and/or braking; and definitely difficult to pass through, thus we recommend using standard material aboce 32F.
Conversely
low temperatute material, rated to -40F by most extruders, remains flexible to -20F proving the perfect material for 99% of freezer applications.
We recommend using
low temperature material for -20F to 32F applications.
